Deck Repair turned Deck Remodel

For this project, it started out as a simple repair. The joist had dropped from the house and I was brought in to reattach. On removing the deck boards, it was discovered that the deck and roof supports had been underbuilt.

With a little more time, I had stripped the cosmetic features off and reapplied a whole new fresh look. Wainscoating walls. Wrapped post. Picture framed box step that stretches the entire deck. Hidden fasteners. And slight details to help this structure last.
